Wow. I've seen crazy saves including those that resulted in massive blowouts, but that is probably the worst stat line I've ever seen. Can that be right?

I brought a guy back from the DL a few days early, so I was one short in the bullpen. I wonder if that had something to do with it.

That's a classic! Good example of how meaningful the save stat really is. Not all saves are created equal. :lol:

Maybe I should make him my closer, he hasn't blown a save this year.....

To compound his terrible performance, keep in mind that St. Louis has the worst statistical offense in the league.

5 runs may be the most they scored off of any pitcher all year...
