I was in touch w/Admin and this crash is no small thing. It's a major outage that not even he can fix. A support request has been sent to the site's host domain company. Let us just pray that there's been no damage to the code and that the season - for, literally, everyone - has also been paused and is not running behind the scenes somewhere.
I know it's difficult, but the watchword now is patience while minds more talented for this sort of thing work on it.

Tomorrow would be the first day of the playoffs for us....
The game running behind the scenes would be suboptimal, but I would take that over the game being gone.

UPDATE:

I hope this helps update the league.I'd been posting updates on Facebook and neglected to post them here; my apologies.
So the physical server hosting our site has suffered a complete loss of the drive. How this has happened has not been explained, nor is it relevant. The point is that the server needs to be rebuilt.
Now, Sim Dynasty is close to 25 years old, and although that server is not its original server, it is still quite old. As mentioned before, it's been in the plan to upgrade and migrate the server over to a modern cloud, where a lot of the issues we run into would be less impactful. Rather than rebuild and restore the old server, we are going to try to push through and get the new cloud host up and running, considering the host has not even been able to get the drive replaced yet.
I don't have an ETA. I have been working day and night rebuilding the server configuration, but I am having some challenges getting the security right so it can talk to the existing database. Meanwhile, Tyson is working on the back end of things, working on getting the database itself onto a new host as well (I am sure you can imagine that a better hosting solution is at the top of our list). So, although progress is being made on recovery, I can't see anyone being able to log in for at least a week or two.
Once we get the security on the database straightened out, things should progress fairly quickly.

Can't help how people feel and mostly I would validate their feelings, if I could. Tyson is now back in the picture, working on fixing and migrating the "back end" of the data while Chris works on updating/migrating the "front end" interface.Progress is coming rapidly. Now that I can see interactive pages again, I'm able to work much faster. Much of the damage is, oddly enough, in missing images, places over the years where an image was replaced or added on the site but not checked in to the master repository. So I may have to track down or recreate some graphics,. Also, a lot of tinkering with look and feel has been done on Beta that never made it to the main site so there will be lots of cosmetic differences, and underneath there's actually some fairly dramatic changes to the site structure that you shouldn't notice except it will make future updates easier.
So much work still to do, but I am going to sleep a lot easier tonight.

It’s honestly all fine, as long as the product is back and ready when this is all said and done…
For one, this league was my favorite league and the one I was most excited about… after joining and rebuilding my team was 3 games out of a playoff spot with 18 games to go! Cursed team indeed

Thank you all for your continued patience! Although we got 90% of the server back up and running we are in the "troubleshoot individual pages" phase; I finished the depth chart and rotation/bullpen last night and fixing roster and player cards today. I am working on a local test server; meanwhile, Tyson is prepping the public server environment. I hope to have Beta users in this weekend for testing.
Football is still up and running but it depends on baseball for payment processing; if you are getting any payment warnings please post an urgent ticket and I will get you straightened out.
