Who are you grabbing at 1

I have 12 bats and desperately need pitchers, or a catcher, which isn't there either.

I would take Humphreys personally, but you could justify Harrell if you desperately need a pitcher and would prefer to draft one rather than trade

Bernard could be an option. He's either close to C+ velocity or close to 100 control. His endurance, bunting and arm are all red letter too. Could be a very solid #3 starter one day.

I’d take Bernard, no need to use CP’s either.

In my initial ranking I had Bernard at 1, I would totally take Newt the SS if the splits were flipped between left and right.

Just worried bernard is 36/100 and doesn't become anything more than that since he will start out at 25.

Yeah. You can give Bernard half season with high CP until he turns 25 and see if that helps his development.

It's a risk. He is a pitcher which you said you desperately needed. Without seeing your roster it's hard to know for sure if it's worth it.

The roster of Misfits...

He will fit in, just need about 3 other pitchers. The fact Booker didn't improve hasn't helped and most of my younger guys are void vsR.

You have a CP crunch for the next couple seasons, so grabbing an older major league ready prospect is probably the way to go.
