I'm hoping it's more compact, like last March.

You would think a service oriented company would be more on top of providing their paying members as well as prospective new clients current and important information.

This from a long-time user:
Please understand that there are only a few guys running this site who don't make a whole lot of bucks. Sometimes they have other things to do (who knows, diapers maybe?) If you want to get involved in SimD for the enjoyment it provides, you won't spend many more effective dollars in your lifetime. If you need user support, post in any of the various fora and someone will inevitably provide guidance. Failing that, have patience. You are getting your money's worth. GL -- Morty
