What everyone think

Post by chance4103 »

Just want to see how many are interested in Lottery draft for Non-Play-off teams no win/loss penalty.
Just to see if there is interest.
I would like it

Still waiting to see how that would actually work. I haven't seen a structure on this yet. Is it for the top 3 picks then the lottery is open up to everyone?

I don't think everyone understands the way the lottery would work.... I was hoping someone would explain it, but it's to my understanding that the bottom 4 teams go into a lottery to see who gets the number 1 pick, then the number 2 pick etc. So the bottom 4 teams are guaranteed a top 4 pick. The only difference is the the 4th worst team could get the number one overall pick. After that the 5th through 16th teams go into the lottery with the worst teams having the best chance to retain their pick. It is possible that the 16th team could get the 5th overall pick, but the chances won't be as good. Anyway it allows teams to go for it and still gives them a chance to get a better pick while going for it. It allows the rebuilding teams that are in the bottom four to still get a top 4 pick and possibly the number 1 overall pick.
