LF -> 2B M? Ha!

According to the chart on the game guide, converting a LF to 2B should be "medium difficulty." My depth chart was short on infielders and this guy had good range and arm, I thought, sure, I'll make him a 2B, then train him to be a SS by the time he comes up to the majors....

20/295 over the course of four years to get him to 2B. Now I have 82 games left this season, let's see how close to useful he can get...

I have 13/221 for a RF converting to 2B. And one who was 19/229 from RF to 2B.

Would the fact that he's left handed play a factor in that?

unfortunately, handed-ness doesn't play a factor into anything fielding-wise. It really should. But alas. It doesn't.

When converting guys in the minors, it is best to only convert one or two players at a time. Give them as much as you can in the minors and then at age 23 start playing them full time at the position you desire.
