Looking to move up in the ranks of my division but am thinking Shueys ceiling is too high to deal for a player 2 years before a decline.

Barry doesn't look like a big improve over your guy Noyes at C, and Shuey will develop into a 1st rate SS - and you don't have a lot of other long-term options at that slot. I'd decline that trade, but you have a surplus of outfielders and the other owner, not so much. I'd counter with one of those OFs you have on trade block and see what he thinks. Maybe something like, one of your OFs and your minor league C for Barry and someone else useful.
